Solid Surface Bathroom CountertopsThe MaterialSolid Surface is composed of a homogeneous composite material, made from a unique blend of color pigments, acrylic, polyester, and aluminum powder (ATH), extracted from natural bauxite ore. Solid Surface is exceptionally durable and has an easy-to-clean and bacteria-resistant surface with a beautiful silk-matte finish. Installation The countertop should be carried upright on its back edge. The countertop must NOT be carried while lying flat. Cleaning and CareCleaning is done with warm water and ordinary household cleaning agents. We recommend Marmorline Cleaner, but you can also use dish soap or similar. For stubborn stains, use concentrated cleaning agent or Marmorline Scrub Sponge. Do not use scouring cream, dry scouring powder, metal pot sponges, or steel wool. DetailsOur standard Solid Surface countertops come in color 110 Arctic White. The plates are uniformly colored white, enabling elegant solutions where five small overflow holes are drilled in a row. RepairSolid Surface is a strong and durable material. Should the plate sustain minor damages such as fine scratches, these can often be polished away. If the scratches are only "cobweb scratches" (not deep scratches), they can most likely be polished away with a felt pad. If that is not enough, the plate can be wet-sanded with an electric sander. Environment and Responsibility Marmorline is a Danish company that produces the plates at its own factories. All countertops from Marmorline have, among others, the following distinctions: |
